Place is nice , but a bit outdated, still I enjoyed My stay
This is me and my husband's first time camping here and we're tenting it.. and I love it.. It's soo peaceful and beautiful very well tooking care of..the woman owner is soo nice and down to earth and the other campers are friendly .. We definitely will be coming back
Recently camped with a small group of friends at Timberline. The campground has a rustic charm but grossly out of date. Our sites where located at the top of a steep hill in a grassy field next to the thruway. Not only could we hear traffic but we could see it pass about 200' away. The electric was to be 50 amp but in the aged electrical box where two 30 amp breakers instead of two 50 amp breakers. Our electric level was in the red.. The water must be well water because it smelled like rotten eggs making it unpleasant to shower. This campground offers NO activities but an old above ground is available to swim and a small rec room out of the 50s is on site. If these things are not a big deal to you then it was a nice place to camp. Despite the lacking accommodations, we had fun.
Very Nice Park, Donna the Manager is very accommodating to everyone in the park. Entertainment on holiday weekends was good, Mac Band, 240 Ride was Excellent. Sites are larger than most parks, well kept. Met some great new friends...Marie, Mike and Jen, Donna and her entire Family, Adam, 2 Barbs, Alex, Jan, and everyone else at the park were very nice. We had a great time Summer of 2017, accept for so many mosquitos, but it is New York. We will be back.
Great place loads of space extremely nice to us. Only slight issue is the public showers can't adjust and are very very hot and there aren't to many
